Daily Responsibilities:

LTC Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to support the further development of an Authoritative Data Environment for the Department of the Navy in the Washington DC area. 


The Business Analyst will be required to meet with stakeholder to gather requirements as well as understand and apply the technologies that meet those requirements.

  • Serves as a liaison between the stakeholder and the IT organization in order to provide help and guidance to end users that experience problems.
  • Participates in the tracking and management of open issues and assists in planning for resolution.
  • Maintain communications with technical counterparts and end users as progress is made on problem resolution.
  • Reviews, edits, analyze and create detailed documentation of systems and user needs.
  • Produce meeting minutes from design meetings, demonstrations to stakeholders, and routine status meetings. 
  • Provide guidance and coordinate for development activities and analyzes user needs to determine requirements.
  • Conduct demonstrations to stakeholders & review stakeholder testing issues, coordinate corrections with development team
  • Participates in the development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.
  • Identifies and recommends emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems.
  • Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures and training materials.

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training or work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Business or related technical discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of related work experience
