Daily Responsibilities: 

LTC Solutions is currently searching for an AWS Cloud Developer to join their team to work on the Navy’s Personnel Modernization (PersMod) program. The successful candidate will work on the design, development and delivery of a Data Lake and data pipeline architecture using AWS services and Informatica tools, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). To be successful, you should have:

  • Extensive experience in AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Athena, AWS Glue, SageMaker) and a good understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices.
  • Experience in data lake design, profiling, and conceptual modeling
  • Experience with ETL development using AWS GLUE
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and scripting tools for automation such as R, Python, etc.
  • Familiar with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, AWS CodeCommit or similar tools
  • Perform technical analysis, data analysis, ETL design, ETL development, and testing to support stakeholder requirements and user stories
  • Experience with data integration, ETL, data warehousing (required)
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Hands on knowledge and experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, SNS, SQS, Athena and cloud native application development.
  • Experience with provisioning and configuration tools like AWS Cloud Formation 

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Web Services 
  • Programming/Scripting (one or more): Python, Linux scripting, BASH
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Formation
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Dynamo DB 
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda
  • AWS SNS and SQS   


  • Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training or work experience
  • 5+ years related work experience 

Desired Responsibilities/Skills:  

  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing
  • Familiarity with AWS Step functions
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight)
  • CompTIA Security + and DOD 8570 Certification a plus
