Daily Responsibilities:

Join LTC Solutions and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The Navy's Personnel Modernization (PersMod) team is searching for an AWS Network Administrator to join their program in New Orleans, LA. 

  

Main responsibilities for the PeopleSoft Administrator include:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and fix errors in existing applications systems
  • Collaborate with the implementation team (Business Analysts, testers, developers and administrators)
  • Support implementation team on current issues
  • Assists, defines, and/or oversees standards, controls, procedures, and documentation 
  • Provides technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of environment.
  • Implements and maintains databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods
  • Maintains and documents shell scripts and batch processes
  • Ensures that documentation is complete and up-to-date
  • Will assist in transition to Amazon Web Services


Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3+ years of PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll technical development consultant experience with higher education clients
  • Experience with the following: Integration Broker, Application Security, Self Service configuration and AWE
  • Proficiency in Oracle 11g or higher is required
  • PeopleSoft 9.x experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS 11.2 - 12.1, Oracle Weblogic 12, Oracle PeopleSoft 8.56  


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree , Computer Science focus is preferred  (5 years of additional experience may be substituted for degree)
  • 5 years related work experience, or Master’s plus 3 years of work experience 

2.   Senior Windows System Administrator

Daily Responsibilities: 

The Personnel Modernization (PersMod) program is seeking a Sr. Windows Administrator to join their team in New Orleans, LA.


  • Analyzes requirements and design specifications for functional activities. 
  • Should provide identification/fixing for the problems within existing systems design/implementation of new systems, enhances the existing systems and participates in analysis, design and new construction of virtual IT systems. 
  • Responsible for installation, configuration and administration of multiple COTS products.
  • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers and COTS Administrators.
  • Sets up administrator and service accounts, applies STIG's to server, maintains security posture of server, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources


Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science focus is preferred; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 7+ years of Windows Administration experience 


Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science focus is preferred (additional years of experience may be substituted for degree)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a current DoD Secret Clearance
  • 7+ years of experience providing administrative services with Windows systems 
  • Active Directory
  • X509 Certificate Authentication


Desired Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Experience with AWS Server EC2 Server Creation and Maintenance
  • RMF Compliance Controls
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Advanced powershell scripting skills
  • Active Directory, DNS - design and maintenance
  • Experience with central configuration manager like SCCM
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management Tools (i.e. Ansible)
  • Virtualization and Managing Virtual Machines
