Business Analysts:

 

1.   Business Analyst (TO105)

Location: New Orleans, LA (Telecommuting Not Allowed)

Daily Responsibilities:

LTC Solutions is currently searching for a Functional Analyst/Subject Matter Expert (SME) for an opportunity in New Orleans, LA.

The desired candidate analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing requirements, such as the Navy's Human resources system. Coordinates with customer, business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.  Serves as Functional Analyst defining business intelligence requirements for Analytical application and reporting. Must possess experience in documenting functional, business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements.

Identifies and develops high level requirements based on knowledge of the Navy's personnel and pay systems, and analytical reporting, basic government accounting and financial knowledge.  Responsible for decomposing high level functional requirements and writing system and technical requirements for development and testing.

As a member of a Task Order Team, must be able to work well with co-workers, developers, testers, and customers.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • 4+ years of strong PeopleSoft HCM experience
  • US Naval Reserve field experience and knowledge of reserve management database systems
  • Knowledge of US Naval reserve administrative and HR Policies.
  • Knowledge of US Navy retirements and separations including the DD214s
  • Experience with NSIPS
  • Interim Secret or Secret Clearance to start

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent US Navy Functional Experience
  • 6-8 Years Work Experience

Required Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, evaluates, modifies, configures, tests and implements enterprise wide purchased systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, etc)
  • Prepares application system specifications.
  • Plans, implements and coordinates system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance

 

2.   Business Analyst & Senior Business Analyst (TO18)

  • Knowledge of US Navy Naval Enlisted Systems (NES) and/or Officer Personnel Information Systems (OPINS)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent US Navy Functional Experience
  • 7-10 Years Work Experience
  • **Senior level requires 10+ Years Work Experience

Required Responsibilities:
